# Install the app

Oktul Regex Field for Jira is a free Forge app. It adds two custom field types to your site and
runs entirely on Atlassian.

## Requirements

- Jira Cloud or Jira Service Management Cloud
- Site or Atlassian app administrator permission

## Install it

## Confirm it worked

In **Settings** (gear icon), **Work items**, **Fields**, select **Create new field**. You should
see **Oktul Regex Field (Single line)** and **Oktul Regex Field (Paragraph)**. In Estonian they
are **(üherealine)** and **(lõik)**.

## If it did not work

- **The field types are not in the list.** The installation has not finished. Wait a minute
  and reload; the app is listed under **Apps**, **Manage your apps** when it has.
- **Portal customers cannot fill in the field.** The field must be on the request type's form,
  as any custom field must.
